Rights Respecting School
We are thrilled to announce that Kew Riverside Primary School has been awarded the Rights Respecting Schools Bronze Award! This fantastic achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire school community.
A special thank-you goes to our Rights Respecting Schools Steering Group, who have played a key role in guiding how the programme has been implemented across the school. Their thoughtful contributions and leadership have helped ensure that children's rights are at the heart of everything we do.
Throughout the year, we’ve been exploring the importance of children’s rights in our assemblies and class discussions, as well as the responsibilities we all share in upholding and protecting those rights. Our pupils have shown great maturity and empathy in these conversations.
With the Bronze Award now proudly in place, our sights are set on achieving the Silver Award over the next two years. We’re excited to continue our journey towards becoming a fully Rights Respecting School and to build on the strong foundations we’ve already laid.
Well done to everyone at Kew Riverside! Your hard work and enthusiasm have made this possible.
