Kew Riverside Primary School

Children at the heart of everything we do

Week beg. 20/4/20

Hi Lions!

Welcome back! I hope you all had a lovely Easter break and got an opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and some family time!

For this week, I have uploaded daily Maths and English (reading and writing) as well as some suggested Foundation activities. I have also assigned Mathletics and Busy Things activities. Please feel free to continue to use the resources from week 1 and 2 and the suggested non-screen time activities. I can’t stress enough the importance of reading for pleasure- it will improve your vocabulary, spelling and writing composition but most importantly, it’s such a fantastic distraction during such a difficult time- transporting the reader to far-away worlds and magical places (unless you’re reading Trump’s biography, haha)!

From Monday 20th April, BBC Bitesize are uploading daily lessons available online, through BBC iplayer or by pressing the red button on your TVs. We often use BBC Bitesize in class- remember those funny evolution videos? ! Here’s the link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize

Remember to do your gratitudes everyday! Today I’m grateful for my yoga mat and left-over Easter Eggs!!! What are you grateful for? Please do email me, I love hearing from you :)

I miss you all very much. Keep smiling and remember, "Be The Kind Kid’,

Rachel
