2016 Parent Survey
Governors’ Survey Report
Many thanks to all of you who took the time to fill out the Parent Questionnaire in June 2016.
Your feedback is extremely valuable in helping us to identify the areas we need to focus on over the next year in order to further improve the school.
We received 108 responses this year (from a total of 48 families, with 192 children currently on the school roll), a decrease of 14 responses compared to 2015, which still provides a robust sample for the Governors and Leadership Team to interpret the survey information.
Overall the survey has provided a positive response and we appreciate the excellent feedback you have given us. There were 5 areas where you have indicated improvements need to be made:
- Home learning
- School Development Plan
- Lunch time food and hall
- Knowing more about what the Governors do
The first three of these were identified in 2015, so clearly more progress needs to be made in those areas.
While the governing body has met to initially discuss the survey results, we will be analysing and discussing them further at the beginning of the new school year. We look forward to letting you know the specific actions the school will be taking to address these concerns, and others raised in the comments, in September.
In the meantime, if you have any queries or questions about the outcome of the survey or any of the issues raised, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your child’s teacher, the Leadership Team or email the Governors at firstname.lastname@example.org as we would be happy to discuss them with you.
The survey questions are the same as those used in 2015 except for the removal of one question about workshops conducted last year. The tables in the document below provide the analysis of the key results in two sections – key questions Ofsted monitor and questions KRPS has asked in 2015.
