Pupil Premium & PE Premium

The Pupil Premium is government funding that is allocated to schools in order to help raise the academic attainment of disadvantaged children and support their wider social and emotional needs. Children in receipt of free school meals (FSM) are eligible for funding as well as any child who has been eligible for FSM within the previous six years (known as Ever 6 FSM). Looked After Children, children adopted from care and children of parents in the armed forces are also included. It is up to the schools to decide how the funding is spent to support this group of children.

The Government also provides primary school funding for PE.  Schools must spend the sport funding on improving their provision of PE and sport.
