On Wednesday eight of us from Crocodile class went to the Brentford Football Community Trust’s 125 Tournament.

We all came into school at 8:15am to change into our football kit and then went Kingston Grammar School by minibus.

Our first game was against Chase Bridge and we won 1-0!!

Our next game was against St Stephen's and we lost 2-0.

The next game was against St Margaret’s B team - we won 2-1.

The next team we played was St Margret’s A team and we won 2-1!!

Then we had lunch.  We had sandwiches with an apple or orange, orange juice and a flap jack.  After lunch we were told who got through to the knockout stages.  We were all amazed that we got through!!

In  the semi-finals we played Chase Bridge again.  After full time, it was still 1-1  and we went into penalties – which we won!

In the final, we played against St Stephen's again. It was 1-1 and then in the last minute Lucian got the ball shot and SCORED!!!!  We were amazed that we won the tournament!

On the way back we were singing CHAMPIONA CHAMPIONA OWOWOW!!   WE made school history.  We were all very excited that we will playing at Brentford’s stadium at Griffin park!!

We were all stunned especially Daniel because he is a massive Brentford supporter.

On the day, we will get a minibus to Griffin park.  We will get changed in the changing room, and walk through the tunnel and then we will play on their pitch.  We all hope we win!
